Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop Review

HI, I’m Dulguun; I’m 20 y.o and from Mongolia! I’m a full-time student with a passion for K-beauty, skincare, beauty and ingredients.

I have dry/acne-prone skin that needs constant hydration and moisturization but also deals with occasional acne breakouts. So, it’s important for me to hydrate and protect my skin while clearing up breakouts in a gentle way.

So today, I will be reviewing the Dear, Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop.

This is how I incorporate this product into my skincare routine:

  1. Gentle, non-stripping cleanser- Cerave Cream to Foam Cleanser
  2. Calming pad- Abib Heartleaf Spod Pad- Calming Touch
  3. Vitamin c serum- Dear, Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop
  4. Day moisturizer- Neogen Vita Duo Day Cream
  5. Sunscreen- Skin Aqua Super Moisture UV Essence SPF50 PA++++

  1. First cleanse- I’m From Fig Cleansing Balm
  2. Second cleanse- Cerave Cream to Foam Cleanser
  3. Toner- Hadalabo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Toner
  4. Vitamin c serum- Dear, Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop
  5. Night moisturizer- Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream

Product details

Packaging – This product comes in a clear bottle and is made out of plastic which is a good thing because if I dropped it, it wouldn’t shatter easily. I like how the instructions were written in both English and Korean on the package.

Tip: it’s best to store it in a dark and cool place away from direct sunlight. I stored it in the fridge.

Texture – The serum is slightly oily and gives a bit of a warm sensation, but I love how it applies on nicely and absorbs quickly into the skin and not leaving any residue.

Scent – This product is fragrance-free. But there’s a light scent to this serum. It smells fresh like lemon juice. The scent didn’t bother me and disappears quickly once applied to the skin.

Usage duration – 3 months

I noticed that my makeup is applied to my face a lot smoother and looks way better ever since I started using this product.

In the mornings, I use water cleanser and toner. I use about 2-3 drops and finish off my routine with my moisturizer and sunscreen.

At night, I use it after cleansing, toning, and essence. I apply it directly onto my skin, then finish off my routine with a moisturizer.

I’ve been using this for a little over 2 months now and there has certainly been an improvement in my overall skin tone and texture. My skin feels and looks brighter and healthier. It has really done a great job fading my acne scars. I have experienced zero irritation or breakouts while using this product. I felt like it even helped with some of my breakouts. After a few uses, my acne calmed down and went away. Overall, I’m happy with my result. So 5 out of 5

  1. If you’re using it during the day, always follow up with sunscreen.
  2. Recommended to store it in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. It’s good to note that if the serum turns to a dark orange colour, it’s probably best to stop using it. As that means it has oxidized.
  3. If you have sensitive skin, I recommend you do a patch test before using it.
  4. You need to pay extra attention when it comes to layering or combining Vitamin C with other ACTIVE ingredients.

Here are all the ingredients you should NOT mix with Vitamin C: Benzoyl peroxide, Retinol, AHAs/BHAs, Niacinamide

Individually they do wonders but combining them together is not a good idea.
